Search Options

Types of Searches:

Default Search

This option displays results for the search terms entered including variations of the word. For example:

	Searching for “Sugar” will return insights containing the word “Sugar” and variations like “Sugars.”
	Searching for “low sugar” will return insights containing the word “low sugar” , “low” , “sugar”.

Exact Word Search (single words)

This option ONLY displays results for the exact search term entered.

Searching for “Probiotic” will return insights containing the word “Probiotic” but not variations like “Probiotics.”

Match Phrase (multiple words)

This will allow precise text searching by matching exact phrases or word sequences. For example:

Without using “Match Phrase”: Searching for “Vitamin K” will yield results containing both the term “Vitamin” and the letter “K” independently.

Boolean Search - AND/OR/NOT

To combine search terms with using conditions such as 'AND/&' , 'OR', 'NOT' between them. This ensures you ONLY get results containing both terms based on condition applied. For example:

	“Coffee AND Chocolate” will ONLY display results containing both search terms Coffee and Chocolate.
	“Coffee OR Chocolate” will display results containing either coffee or chocolate or both.
	“Coffee NOT Chocolate” will ONLY display results containing the search term coffee but not chocolate.

Fuzzy Word Search

This option displays results for the search terms entered including variations of the word. This option also identifies the nearest match to a misspelled term.

	Searching for “usgar” will return insights containing the word “sugar” and variations like “sugars.”
	Searching for “Cat” will return insights containing the word “cat”, “cut”, “cap” etc.
