This Shopper Insight report examines grocery shopping habits in Canada. The first part of the report analyzes consumer attitudes towards price inflation, such as the extent that consumers believe food and drink prices are rising in the country, the extent that they monitor changing prices, in which product categories do they believe grocery inflation is having the biggest impact and how consumers adjust their shopping habits to deal with rising costs. The second part of the report examines where consumers shop and why, and how consumers typically shop when buying groceries – as well as overall levels of satisfaction with the retail experience.
