Dr. Sonia Hartunian-Sowa is the Director of Nutrition Science & Advocacy at DSM Nutritional Products and responsible for the science across business units in North America. She has served on many executive boards and has held several corporate advocacy roles. Prior to DSM, Dr. Hartunian-Sowa worked in the food industry (Mondelez and Mars, Inc.) and was a professor at the College of Saint Elizabeth where she taught and researched in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Julia Besselink

Nutrition Application Specialist

Julia is a Nutrition Application Specialist for the Savory portfolio at DSM Food & Beverage. She is working in close collaboration with the application and sales teams to create plant-based alternatives that deliver the right taste, texture, mouthfeel, and nutritional value.
