FMCG Gurus

Terms & Conditions

Governing your use of the FMCG Gurus website, Report Store and accounts.
Last updated: July 2026

1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of:

  • www.fmcggurus.com;
  • the FMCG Gurus Report Store;
  • public website content and downloads;
  • website accounts;
  • demo, contact and enquiry forms.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.

2. Who Operates the Website

FMCG Gurus is a trading brand used by M&R Insights Ltd (company number: 09730354, registered in England and Wales) and JKP Insights L.L.C-FZ (licence number: 2644908, registered in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE).

The entity supplying a paid product or service will be identified before purchase in the applicable proposal, order form, checkout page, invoice or agreement.

Contact: info@fmcggurus.com

3. Separate Client Agreements

These terms govern general website use. Paid subscriptions, Sensia, custom research, consulting and other client services may be governed by separate proposals, order forms, subscription agreements or licences.

Where a separate agreement conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement takes priority for that product or service.

4. Using the Website

You may use the website for legitimate business and informational purposes. We may update, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.

5. Accounts

Where an account is required, you must:

  • provide accurate information;
  • keep your login details confidential;
  • not share an individual account unless your agreement allows it;
  • notify us of suspected unauthorised access;
  • comply with any applicable subscription or licence.

We may suspend accounts where we reasonably suspect misuse, unauthorised sharing, security risks or non-payment.

6. Intellectual Property

The website and its content are owned by or licensed to FMCG Gurus. This includes:

  • reports and research findings;
  • survey data, charts and tables;
  • written analysis and platform outputs;
  • databases, methodologies and scoring frameworks;
  • software and website code;
  • brands, logos and designs.

These materials are protected by copyright, database rights, trademark rights and other intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you by accessing the website or purchasing a product.

7. Permitted Use

You may:

  • view public website content;
  • share links to public pages;
  • print or download reasonable extracts for internal evaluation;
  • quote limited extracts where legally permitted and properly attributed to FMCG Gurus.

You must not, without our prior written permission:

  • reproduce or redistribute substantial website content;
  • publish, resell or sublicense reports, data or outputs;
  • remove copyright or source notices;
  • present FMCG Gurus content as your own;
  • scrape or systematically extract website content;
  • bypass paywalls or access restrictions;
  • use our content to build a competing research product, database or service;
  • use our content to train, fine-tune, test or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems.
Authorised clients may use purchased reports and subscription outputs internally in accordance with their applicable agreement or licence.

8. Research and Platform Content

FMCG Gurus provides research and decision-support information. Content may be based on surveys, samples, stated consumer attitudes, historic information, analysis, modelling and third-party sources.

It does not guarantee future consumer behaviour, commercial performance, regulatory approval, or the success of a product, claim or strategy.

You are responsible for evaluating whether information is suitable for your intended purpose and obtaining appropriate legal, regulatory, financial, scientific or technical advice where necessary.

AI-assisted outputs may retrieve, summarise or interpret research evidence. They should be used alongside appropriate professional judgement and do not constitute a guarantee that every relevant consideration has been identified.

9. Report Store Purchases

Orders

An order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and we provide confirmation or make the report available. We may reject or cancel an order where the price or product description contains an obvious error, payment is declined, fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected, or the product cannot legally or practically be supplied. Where we cancel a paid order, we will refund the affected amount.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. VAT and other applicable taxes may be added where legally required. You are responsible for any bank, currency-conversion or intermediary charges imposed by your own provider.

Delivery

Reports are normally supplied electronically or made available through an online account. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and maintaining access to the email address or account used for purchase.

Report licence

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasing a report gives the purchasing organisation a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it internally. The report may be shared internally with employees of the purchasing legal entity who reasonably need access.

It must not be:

  • shared outside the purchasing legal entity;
  • published online;
  • resold or sublicensed;
  • redistributed to clients, affiliates or third parties;
  • used to create a competing product or database.

Group-wide, external or client-facing use requires a separate written licence.

Refunds

Due to the digital nature of reports, purchases are normally non-refundable once the report has been supplied or access has been provided, except where the report is defective, incorrectly supplied or a refund is required by law. Nothing in these terms removes legal rights that cannot be excluded.

10. Subscriptions and Platforms

Subscription and platform access are governed by the relevant client agreement. Unless that agreement states otherwise:

  • access is limited to authorised users;
  • login details must not be shared;
  • automated extraction and bulk downloading are prohibited;
  • outputs are for the authorised organisation's internal business use only;
  • access may end when the subscription expires or is terminated.

Website descriptions of products do not override the terms of a signed commercial agreement.

11. User Submissions

Where you submit information through the website, you confirm that:

  • you have the right to provide it;
  • it is not unlawful, defamatory or misleading;
  • it does not infringe another person's rights;
  • it does not contain harmful code;
  • you are authorised to disclose it.
Do not submit confidential product concepts, trade secrets or sensitive personal information through a general website form unless appropriate confidentiality arrangements are already in place.

12. Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • use the website unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • attempt unauthorised access;
  • interfere with website security or performance;
  • introduce malware or harmful code;
  • scrape or systematically download content;
  • share unauthorised account credentials;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • bypass paywalls or access restrictions;
  • misuse our research or intellectual property;
  • use our content to train, fine-tune, test or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems;
  • use our content to create a competing research product, database or service.

13. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control or accept responsibility for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or services.

14. Accuracy and Availability

We take reasonable care in preparing website content, but public content may contain errors, omissions or information that becomes outdated. We do not guarantee that public website content is complete, current or suitable for a particular commercial decision. Specific commitments for paid products and services are governed by the applicable commercial agreement.

15. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for losses caused by reliance on free public website content;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
  • we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from public website use;
  • we are not responsible for third-party websites or services;
  • we are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control.

For Report Store purchases where no separate agreement applies, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the report giving rise to the claim. Liability for subscriptions, platforms, consulting and custom research is governed by the relevant client agreement.

16. Privacy and Cookies

Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is explained through our cookie banner, cookie preference centre and Privacy Policy.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, payment is overdue, an account or service is misused, access creates a security or legal risk, or we are legally required to do so. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose beforehand.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Changes do not override an existing signed client agreement unless that agreement allows them to do so.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
